Fellow Rotarians,
We dedicate this month to Youth Service. This is a time for us to reflect on the important role that young people play in our society and to recognize the incredible contributions they make to our communities.
As we look around us, we see so many examples of young people who are making a positive difference in the world. Whether it is through volunteering their time and talents, advocating for important causes, or simply being a positive role model for others, young people are truly the future of our society.
This is also why we gave our full support to the RYLA Pilipinas, held last April 29, 2023, at Boracay Island Philippines, which was attended by hundreds of Rotaractors from different parts of the country.
At a time when the world is facing so many challenges, it is more important than ever to support and empower our youth. By investing in their education, providing them with opportunities to grow and learn, and encouraging them to be active and engaged members of their communities, we can help ensure that our future is bright and prosperous.
As Governor, I am committed to working with Rotary and other organizations to support the next generation of leaders and to create a brighter future for all. I encourage each and every one of you to take part in Youth Service Month by reaching out to young people in your communities, mentoring them, and helping to inspire them to be their best selves.
Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of young people and in the world around us.
